By virtue of and to satisfy a Writ of Seizure and Sale issued in the above numbered and entitled suit, directed to me by the Honorable 18th Judicial District Court in and for the Parish of Pointe Coupee, State of Louisiana, the undersigned Sheriff has seized and will offer for sale at public auction in the Sheriff’s Office, located near the front door of the courthouse in New Roads, in the Parish of Pointe Coupee, on Wednesday the 27th of May, 2026 beginning at 10:00 A M, the following Described Property, to wit:
A certain lot or parcel of ground, with all buildings and improvements thereon, situated in the Village of Morganza, Parish of Pointe Coupee, State of Louisiana, having a front of eighty (80) feet, more or less on Ryan Street, by a depth between parallel lines of one hundred twenty ( 120 ) feet, more or less, bounded as follows: North by Ryan Street, East by lot of ground sold by Mrs. Urania Oubre Tircuit, et al to Jimmy Purpera, South by land belonging formerly to James W. Campbell, and now or formerly of Numa F. Tircuit, and West by a street which separates same from the lot belonging formerly to Mrs. Belle Melson. The lot above described is the western portion of two lots
purchased by Numa Tircuit from Carl Barz by act dated March 6, 1923, recorded under Entry No. 6715 of Book “D” of conveyance records of Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana.
Said property is further more particularly described on the plat of survey by James H. Chustz, Jr. dated February 13, 1995, annexed to an Act of Sale by Stanley Alan LeCoq, et ux to Charles Earl Major and Anngela Grace Dwyer Major, dated March 2, 1995, and filed and recorded at Conveyance Book 395, Entry No. 27 of the records of Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana, to-wit:
A certain lot or parcel of ground, together with all buildings and improvements therein, situated in the Town of Morganza, Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana, in Section 7, Township 4 South, Range
9 East, which said lot or parcel of ground has a front of 81.86 feet along the southerly right-of-way limits of Ryan Street by a depth in a general southeasterly direction of 120.19 feet on its eastern boundary, 120.19 feet on its westerly boundary and a width on its rear or southerly boundary of 80.04 feet, said lot being bounded as follows: On the North by Ryan Street; on the East by property now or formerly of Joseph P. Purpera; on the South by property of Buddy Joe Leonard; and on the
West by Tuminello Street. Reference is herein made to said plat of survey for greater certainty of description.
