I n our newspaper industry, questions range from, “How do you decide what to run,” to “Why did you run that?’ We ask ourselves those questions on almost a daily basis. And it is good to do that, to evaluate what will appear in our pages.

A walk through the Glaser Produce Stand on Saturday allowed me to become familiar with a local business that I had been wanting to visit quite some time. I’m just grateful I made it there before I’d have to tell myself, “Damn it, I wish I could’ve gone there before it closed.” A lady I met a few weeks ago at the grand opening of the new location of Anytime Fitness told me about it.

A lawsuit has just started working its way through the state court system, and it may end up in the federal court system. Tom Manuel of East Feliciana Parish, with help from the Institute of Justice, filed the lawsuit in the 20th Judicial District, which covers that parish.
