It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Bridget A. Allement.
Bridget Ann Allement passed away Saturday July 30, 2022 at the age of 54. She was a native of Morganza and resided in Glynn, La. She graduated high school from False River Academy and pursued a Bachelor’s of Science degree at LSU, specializing in education. She taught at Rougon Elementary for 29 years. Bridget had plans to retire this coming year. She loved her students, teaching and spending time with family. She is survived by sons Robbie “Adam” Allement Jr. (Courtney), Thomas Allement (Jori), grandchildren Brynn, Jase, Rylee Jo, Skylar, and Waylon. Her mother Barbara Latham, her brother John “Jay” Latham and daughters Morgan and Mollie. She is preceded in death by her husband Robbie Allement Sr. and her father John “Rodney” Latham Jr. She will be missed very much especially by her sons and grandchildren. Visiting will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lakeland on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. The interment will follow in Chenal cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Part, Charles “Brother” Bennett, Shannon Chenevert, Bobby David, Zeb York, and Nick Part. Gift givers will be Mollie Latham and Sharon Aucoin.
