Preceded in death by his father Charlie Nelson Chenevert. Known as Daddy, PawPaw, Doc, Ump, and Coach, he was always there for advice and consolation to many. His life lessons to his sons were passed to his grandchildren. He volunteered for many years as coach of New Roads Rotary youth basketball and Dixie Youth baseball in addition to umpiring youth and high school hardball and softball. To grieve him is to say he lived life simply and to the fullest by spending many hours with his sons, grandchildren, amp; great grandchildren making memories, cooking for family gatherings, woodworking, turning bowls, hunting with his sons and grandchildren, crafting turkey calls, and shooting pool in tournaments. He got the biggest kick out of our many little ones and their antics. We will love him forever, hold him close to our hearts, and cherish his wonderful memories.
