David Lovern Francois passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
David Lovern Francois was born in New Roads, La to the late Gaston and Laura Francois on August 03, 1964. David graduated in 1982 from Rosenwald High School in New Roads, La. and attended Delta Business College in Baton Rouge, La.
David had a love for his family, cooking, horses, reading, and the New Orleans Saints.
David is survived by four siblings: Raymond (Zina) Davis of Baton Rouge, La, Sarah Francois-Smith of Rowlett, Tx, Veronica Francois (Collis) Walker of Rowlett, Tx, Gregory Francois of Rowlett, Tx, and a Great-Aunt Mary Louise Francois of New Roads, La. and a host of nieces and nephews to cherish his memories.
David is preceded in death by his parents Gaston Francois, Jr and Laura Davis Francois. Two brothers: Lawrence James Francois and Joseph Gaston Francois III. Three sisters: Barbara Ann Francois-Durham, Laura Marie Francois, and Debra Francois-Howard. Paternal Grandparents: Gaston Francois Sr. and Anna Terrance- Francois. Maternal Grandparents: Lawrence Davis Sr., Sarah Coffield Davis, and Step Grandmother Delia Collins- Davis.
In accordance with David's wishes, cremation has taken place.
