Extraordinary Woman You Have Been
There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens. A time to give birth, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. Ecclesiastes (3:1-2, 4) You were able to do all these things while here on earth. We believe that you are now rejoicing with God, family, and friends. It is because of our religion and our faith, as Christians we are believers from our upbringing from you and our grandparent. We know you are a believer. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life. John 3;16 May 17, 2024, marks a year since you transitioned to your heavenly home. We have experienced several holidays, a birthday and Mother’s Day. We miss you and we love you. You cared for others and gave support to countless others. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me. Matthew 25:35-36. When you were in the hospital in Baton Rouge, La., a woman who you supervised at the Bethany Nursing Home in New Orleans remembered when you fed her and her children when she didn’t have any money for food.
I met several people after your transition who were in New Roads telling me that you were such a sweet person, or you were a genuinely nice lady and such a kind lady.
