Golda Melancon Pourciau passed away peacefully on Holy Saturday April 4, 2026. She was born December 8, 1927; The Immaculate Conception. She was preceded in death by beloved husband of 62 years, Douglas Joseph Pourciau, son, Larry Paul Pourciau, brothers: Harry Melancon Jr., Clifford Melancon and Morris Melancon, sisters: Rena David, Elsie Bergeron and Gladys Bordelon, and parents: Harry Melancon Senior and Cora Gros Melancon. She is survived by daughter Denise Pourciau Lambert (Allen), grandson, Dr. Jonathan Lambert, granddaughter, Victoria Lambert and great grandsons, Bryson & Grayson Lambert. Forever grateful for nieces: Cathy Plauche, Joanie Bishop and Brenda Neil and nephew: Glen Bordelon for their visits, care and Burger King runs.
Funeral service were at St. Ann’s in Morganza, April 24, 2026 at 11:00 am.
