We little knew that day God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone, For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, our chain will link again.
It’s almost impossible to believe that a whole year has passed since the day the Lord called you home. It is so hard not being able to kiss, hug and talk to you in person, but your loving, kind and gentle spirit is always right here with us, smiling and watching over us, just like you always did. We miss you so much and will forever love and cherish our precious memories of the beautiful life we shared with you. Every conversation we have begins and ends with Luce, Daddy or Pop.
Rest well until we’re reunited in Heaven.
