Jewell “Katy” Stout Kline peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on June 4, 2026, at the age of 63. She was born in Kentucky, and when she was 14 years old she moved to Louisiana, where she resided the remainder of her life.
Katy was known for enjoying a warm cup of coffee with family and friends, traveling, specifically on cruises, going to the casinos, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jewell is survived by her children Tejay (Kim), Keven (Jerrica), and Jennifer (David); grandchildren, Kenli, Eli, Alyssa, Rhealyn, Harlie, Nathen, and Jacie; brothers, Lowell Stout (Joann), Clint Stout, Mitch Stout; sister in law, Gail Himel; Allan “Leeny” Allen, Jeanie Kline David; and her mother in law, Rosemary Duhe.
She is preceded in death by her loving partner of 27 years, the late Jody “Papa Si” Duhe, as well as her first husband Eli Kline, Jr.; parents, Lowell Ansell and Cora Jean Stout; brothers Robert “Jody” Stout (Linda) and Steve Stout (Jeri); and sisters, Brenda Stout and Susan Stout.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Rose Lynn Funeral Home on June 10, 2026, located at 1870 Cabanose Ave., Lutcher, Louisiana 70071. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Prayers will begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
