A loving father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 surrounded by his family at his home in Glynn. He was a native of Wisner and resident of Glynn. He loved to spend time with family and friends. He is survived by his son; Raymond Sproles and daughter in law, Melissa P. Sproles; 3 grandchildren, Johnathon Sproles (Kayla), Jenna Ainsworth (Dylan), Jordan Sproles(Riley); 7 great grandchildren; Madison & Nathan Sproles, Bryleigh, Presleigh & Lane Ainsworth and Bentleigh & Ryan Sproles and Brother; David Sproles (Gracie). Preceded in death by Laura Lemoine, parents; Woodrow and Ellen Sproles, Brothers; Larry Sproles, Randle Sproles, Ronnie Sproles and grandparents. A visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in New Roads on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 9AM to 11 AM followed by services. Pallbearers will be;
Johnathon Sproles, Jordan Sproles, David Sproles, Nathan Sproles, Dylan Ainsworth, John Pourciau Sr. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Lane Ainsworth and Ryan Sproles. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Pointe Coupee Healthcare & Hospice and all staff members.
