Morris Rodney Robillard, Jr. a native and resident of Morganza, La, passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 75. Rodney was retired from Pointe Coupee Parish Police Jury after serving for many years. He was a member of Raccourci Hunting Club where he spent much of his time hunting with his family and friends. Rodney was also an avid LSU Tiger fan, held season tickets, and loved attending football, baseball and women’s basketball games.
Rodney is survived by his wife, JoAnn Robillard; son, Philip Robillard and wife, Erica; step-son, Stevie Dalton and wife, Adrian; step-daughter, Rosanna Stadelman and husband, Vince; brother, Brett Robillard and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Juliana and Phoebe Robillard; step-grandchildren, Isla and Blaise Stadelman; nieces, Hilary Meche, DeAnn Morgan, and Olivia Robillard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adele and Morris R. Robillard, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Bordelon, Johnny Mac Dawson, Donald Bordelon, Cooter Purpera, Bryan Roubique, and Jody Bertrand. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Luneau, Bubba Bordelon, and Chad Soprano.
The visitation will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morganza on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am. Conducted by Father Babu. The burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
