‘Y&R’ five get life in prison

Members of the “Young & The Reckless” received sentences of life imprisonment Friday in state District Court for their roles in the January 2021 murder of Eugene Jarreau III. The sentences District Judge Kevin Kimball issued in the trial marked what Assistant District Attorney Chad Aguillard called a “historic event.” “On behalf of the family of Eugene Jarreau, I can report to the family and to Pointe Coupee Parish that justice has in fact been served,” he said.
