Empty the Shelter campaign continues

Body
Six days remain in the Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters national event and pups such as Mocha, at the Pointe Coupee Parish Animal Shelter, 9628 La. 1 (Morganza Highway), New Roads, are looking for permanent homes. The goal is to find a home for spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped pets in animal shelters at more than 410 organizations. The Bissell Pet Foundation is helping lower the cost of adoption to zero dollars to $50 for dogs and zero dollars to $30 for cats. Mocha is a sweet 1-year-old girl who gets along with children and other dogs. For information on Mocha or the campaign, call (225) 240-7250 or send a message on Facebook to Pointe Coupee Parish Animal Services.
