Dr. Brian Joseph LeBlanc and Jenna Elaine Guidry reigned as king and queen of the 80th Annual New Roads Lions Club Mardi Gras Parade on Tuesday.

LeBlanc, the king, is a graduate of False River Academy. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and received his medical doctorate degree from the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport.

District 5 Fire Chief Pedro Leonard and Morgan Elise Foster reigned as king and queen for the 102nd annual Community Center Carnival Club of Pointe Coupee Parade on Mardi Gras Day.

Foster was presented with her Royal Court on Saturday at the annual ball of the Community Center Carnival Club of Pointe Coupee, while Leonard’s identity was not revealed until Fat Tuesday.
