In Loving Memory of Gloria Marie Hebert Cador
Gloria Marie Hebert Cador was born on January 1, 1943, and valiantly entered eternal rest on October 23, 2026. A native of Ventress, Louisiana, and a longtime resident of New Roads, Louisiana, Gloria touched countless lives through her kindness, dedication, and loving spirit.
Affectionately known as “Glo,” Gloria devoted more than 33 years of faithful service to the Pointe Coupee Parish Library as a bookmobile driver. Through her work, she helped bring the joy of reading, knowledge, and learning to individuals and families throughout the community. Her years of dedicated service reflected her caring nature and her commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Above all, Gloria cherished her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love, strength, and wisdom will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of devotion, compassion, and service will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
Gloria leaves to cherish her precious memories her children: Marie Shurnette Cador; Dr. Mary Maxine Cador-McCrary (Charles); John Cador (Bavon); and Rev. Tara Cador-Turner (Richard). Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, dear friends, and all those whose lives were blessed by her presence will also lovingly carry her memory.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Louis Cador; her son, Joseph Herman Cador; her parents, James and Leola Hebert; and her sister, Mary Elizabeth Woods.
Though Gloria’s earthly journey has ended, the love she shared, the service she rendered, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and community. Her life was a beautiful testament to love, dedication, and faithfulness, and she will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
